General Principles

- The Trust seeks to support a broad range of beneficiaries over time, roughly equally divided between research and healthcare.

- Grants are made to other charitable or non-profit making organisations and not to individuals. - Grants must make a 'real difference'. They will not be made where funding should come from others.

- Grants should be significant in the context of the project.

- Grants are generally 'one-off'; the Trust seeks to avoid dependency of any kind.

- Applications will be considered for capital and people costs relating to 'front line' work; the Trust does not support overhead or administration costs.
