The Evelyn Trust is a grant-making charity supporting medical research and health and wellbeing projects in Cambridgeshire
Since 2003 we have awarded over £24 million to biomedical researchers and charitable organisations. Each year, we hope to make grants totalling between £500,000 and £1.5m. We consider applications for any amount, up to about £250,000.
Established as a charity in 1920, The Evelyn Trust owned and managed the Evelyn Hospital in Cambridge. In 2003 the hospital was sold and the funds invested. From these funds we make grants to support medical research and health and wellbeing projects in Cambridgeshire. We support a broad range of projects. The Trust is increasingly interested in medical research and health and wellbeing projects that deliver transformational change, especially pilot or demonstration projects.
